At SummitPath we are passionate about giving back to our community. This year Chad has made the personal goal to hike to the Everest Base Camp in support of the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation's Centre for Child & Adolescent Mental Health.
With the adventure completed, and through the generous support of multiple donors, we are pleased to announce the Moving Up Mountains for Mental Health campaign has raised a grand total of:
$42,499.25
These funds are going directly towards supporting the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation's Centre for Child & Adolescent Mental Health.
The new Centre will be a warm and welcoming one-stop resource dedicated to helping young people who are struggling with mental health issues. It will provide a much-needed alternative for families in crisis.
Currently, their only option for treatment is a hospital Emergency Department – primarily designed to rapidly triage and treat children with physical ailments. The Centre will be tailored to meet the mental health needs of kids and teens and give them direct access to on-site assessment and therapy – all integrated with leading-edge research and training for the next generation of specialists.
Thank you to everyone who donated and helped us surpass, not ONE, but TWO different Goals!
We couldn't have done it without you!
THANK YOU!
