The Moving Up Mountains Fundraiser is Back!
We’re excited to bring back our “Moving Up Mountains” – our fundraiser to rally our community in support of youth mental health, building on past successes and inspiring even greater impact this year.
This year, Chad is hoping to climb to the top of Mont Blanc, Western Europe’s highest peak, sitting at 4,806 meters above sea level.

ACHF’s – High Observation Mental Health Unit Enhancements
For youth in severe mental health crises, High Observation Rooms provide essential safety during their most vulnerable moments. At Foothills Medical Centre, four outdated rooms need transformation into calming, trauma-informed spaces that promote healing and reduce acute care stays—helping young patients feel safe, supported, and on the path to recovery.
Help us provide the funding to update these rooms and give Calgary’s youth the care environment they deserve.

2021
SummitPath’s Take Care of Your Head initiative supported the new Centre for Child & Adolescent Mental Health, matching purchases of Local Laundry Giving Toques and Socks with donations to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, and providing items to the Drop-In Centre.
Together we donated 100 toques to the Calgary Drop-In Centre and raised $5,000 for the ACHF.

2022
SummitPath’s Moving up Mountains for Mental Health campaign raised funds for the new Centre for Child & Adolescent Mental Health by aiming to collect $8,849—the height of Mount Everest in metres. Inspired by co-founder Chad Harding’s trek to Everest Base Camp, the initiative combined donations with updates from his training hikes to engage the community.
